Hundreds of Toilets Repaired Nashville TN
Common Toilet Issues
Toilets can stop working properly for a number of reasons. The most common toilet problems are the following:
-
What to know about Leaking Toilets:
Do you find water on the bathroom floor near the toilet area? Toilets may leak around the bowl or tank area and cause water damage to tile, hardwood, or ceiling, as well as increase your water bill. The leak is commonly caused by condensation or water leaking from inside the toilet tank, from the fill valve refill tube, from between the tank and the bowl or the supply line. Our plumbers can almost always troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair the toilet quickly.
-
Clogged Toilet Troubleshooting:
When you flush your toilet, does the water level rise in the bowl (rather than fall) and then drain slowly? If so, you have a clogged toilet. You can take care of this yourself often with a plunger. If you find you are having to plunge often or if plunging is simply not working, feel free to contact us.
-
Clogged Vent Linse:
Does your toilet just barely flush or do you see bubble that make a gurgling sound as you flush? If so, you likely have a clogged vent line. The items that are blocking the vent line need to be removed. You may try this yourself by running a garden hose down the vent pipe to dislodge the obstruction.
-
Constantly Running Toilets:
Does your toilet continue to run even after you flush? Does the constant noise keep you awake at night? Running toilets waste water and are a nuisance to home owners. To fix a running toilet, yourself, you can often adjust the flapper on the inside tank. If that doesn’t do the trick or you find yourself opening the lid to the tank over and over again, call Fix It All – Plumbing (615) 568-5051
